Adding

  Xft.antialias: true
  Xft.hinting: true
  Xft.autohint: false
  Xft.hintstyle: hintfull

to ~/.Xdefaults and running

  xrdb ~/.Xdefaults
  dillo underscore.html

does not solve the problem on my machine, sorry.
