I've tried all of them here and they work.
Devuan Jessie, amd64, Linux 4.5.0-2-amd64 (fltk-1.3.1).

Is that the only symbol that disappears?
Try a line like: !"#$%&/()=?¡-_{}^[]~.,;:|°
and check whether those are displayed.
