Alternative to cookies?

    Lately I've been seeing an increase in the use of PHP4 sessions over the traditional cookies and past session information.

    I believe that possibly looking into the future of using session id's over the past methods might be a better choice.

    (Then again, I don't remember if postnuke was already using php4 sessions, but i'll assume not.)
