Yes I will eventually convert over the messenger module to postbbcode and the
news module. These are more invloved than the comments module and I want to
rewrite postbbcode first. For now bbcode can be used in news and comments but
the news does not indicate that it can be used this way. Once I rewrite
postbbcode it will look even better with better javascript for the logic but
there is not enough time for this before 1.0. Once bbcode is done though
every module that uses it will automaticle look like the new stuff. This is
what I'm refering to by widgets.
I also updated to the new NS-Settings from the new postnuke. It was redone by
magicx and neo and adds more html codes that can be turned on or off. I made
sure to test it on my site frst and there seems to be no problems with it. I
can send that over also.
So for now I have updated:
News
NS-AddStory
NS-Comments
NS-Settings
Submit_News
Things for testing:
I have an updated version of the news script that is in use on a bulgarian
site that allows multi page news from the front page for going back through
past articles. it list links at the bottom of the news for past pages and can
be configured through the admin. He says he uses it with my news modules
already and works well with it.
Final:
I can send the new admin stuff over also if you would like butI need to merge
it with the new NS-Settings from magicx first.
