Already fixed in the rc's for 1.0.1. Actually it was one of the first round of 
fixes. Rc10 will be released sometime today for internal testing.

Yes this is probably the case. If you could send the module along it may be 
easier to look into. At any rate yes if header and footer are not called it 
will produce this effect.
