Hi again.

I have another couple of question, if you have the time to answer them
of course.

Under the docs for "Adding a new field". I noticed the statement "It is
possible to add a new field to a live system but involves SQL hacking."

Are there additional docs for this?

My eprints archive isn't live at this point, but the reason I am asking
is because my boss(s) wanted me to add a field called "institution"
under the "Core Bibliographic Information" page, between 'Given Name'
and 'Creators email'.

I did the following:
In the ArchiveMetafieldConfig.pm file
{ name => "local", type => "set" }

In the metadata-types.xml
<field name="institution" required="no" />

In the phrases-en.xml
<ep:phrase ref="eprint_fieldname_institution">Institution</ep:phrase>

Then re-ran the pertinent scripts.

It didn't have much luck, and I think Its because there already a field
that exists called institution in your code.

Anyways, I would like to hack in my own field called "institution1".

If you have the time, could tell me what steps to take to hack in my own
field?

One other thing:
How hard will it be for my eprints archive to only require a publication
to be uploaded if the Deposit Type is either a "Technical Report", or a
"Thesis"?

Thanks in advance,

-Hiram
