[EP-underground] Persistent URLs?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is too technical for the list...

I'm looking for an archive solution and I'm comparing eprints and 
d-space.  I like the simplicity of eprints but I haven't found anything 
that confirms whether it supports persitent urls/handles by default 
like d-space.  I found some info through Google from early 2004 that 
talked about setting up an external solution but that's it.

Any advice or pointers are appreciated!
