It sounds to me that this would be quite possible. What it would probably
involve is writing a custom version of the "generate_views" script to
render the info just how you want it.

If you are willing to add it to my planed "archive of 3rd party tools" then
I'll be happy to help.

EPrints has a PERL API which can talk to the records & searches.
