Yes I found the reason. The problem was that the script didn't have permission to execute. Just play with the permissions. Also give sufficient permissions to isapi_fcgi.dll. I also found a crazy bug. My application is written in perl and the structure is: index.pl module, which requires Main.pm and Main::start(); contains the main while loop. Now if I write many comments in index.pl, the perl process is created but when it's ready to execute (I know it's compiled because of the size of memory it allocates) it just hangs. When I remove all comments (or keep only a few lines) everything is fine. If you write many comments in Main.pm you won't have this problems. This is very strange. Under normal cgi or mod_perl the application runs fine with the comments. Also note if you are going to run the nsapi_fcgi.dll under SunOne Web Server 6 (also with perl). Everything is fine until you try a POST method. The whole web server is killed. I hope that Shane will release a new version of both the isapi and the nsapi so I'm sending this to the developers list and Shane's e-mail. >-------- ÎðèãèГГ Г«ГГ® ïèñìî -------- >ГЋГІ: Martin Lathoud <[email protected]> >ГЋГІГîñГГ®: fastcgi >Äî: [email protected] >Èçïðà òåГГ® ГГ : ГЏГ®ГåäåëГГЁГЄ, 2004, Íîåìâðè 22 19:29:46 EET >---------------------------------- > >Hello, > >it seems that you are the only one who had the issue I'm also having, >crash when trying to use isapi_fcgi.dll.. >Did you find the reason?
