FastCGI compile errors

All,

When attempting to compile FastCGI v2.4.2 for Apache 1.3.x on OS X 
(v10.3.9), the following compilation error occurs:

cc -bundle -undefined suppress -flat_namespace -Wl,-bind_at_load -o 
mod_fastcgi.so mod_fastcgi.o fcgi_util.o fcgi_protocol.o fcgi_pm.o 
fcgi_config.o fcgi_buf.o
/usr/bin/ld: -undefined: unknown argument: -lbundle1.o
apxs:Break: Command failed with rc=1

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to address this?

This works with v10.3.1 (and lower).
