Problems Getting FastCGI working

Hi all, I installed fastcgi recently from source on a fedora core 3 box running apache2 (following the directions in the INSTALL.A2 file). I then put the following entry in a virtualhost directive: AddHandler fastcgi-script pl (to make fastcgi process all .pl files) I also tried putting SetHandler fastcgi-script (which makes fastcgi process everything as fastcgi right?)
