Can i use thomas boutell CGIC C library with FASTcgi ? and How ?

I used to work with classics CGI scipts in C/C++ language. I found the Thomas
Boutell C CGIC library on the web. This lib is very easy to use, manage HTTP
headers, parse stdin, retrieve form parameters, support upload of file...etc.

But now, i'd like to grow up my webserver load and experiment the fastcgi lib.

Is there anyone who can tell me if it's possible to work with these two
libraries and how.

Any feedback experience is welcomed.
