Is it possible to use Thomas Boutell CGI C library with FASTCGI ? and How ?

I used to work with Thomas Boutell CGI C library which is very easy to 
use with good features ( http headers management, stdin parsing,  form 
parameters retrieving...etc : http://www.boutell.com/cgic ).

But now i'd like to grow ip my webserver load and experiment FASTCGI.

Is it possible to use these 2 libraries without rewritting all source 
code ( or just a little piece ).

Is there anyone who already worked with these lib together ?
