You have no idea.... It's kinda amazing how much people depend on it, and it just quietly runs (we use it for almost all of our web deployment, including a lot of PHP). I guess that's a good thing that it needs so little care and feeding. Maybe those non-Apache users can round up a team leader to update all of the relevant documentations and how-tos so people know it exists.
