I'm running into a bit of a roadblock here... we want to invoke our (external) fastcgi application only for certain file extensions, just as we would do with CGIs. But we can't get it to work. We finally ran across this article: http://www.tenon.com/support/itools8/NetCloakDirectiveChange.shtml ..which basically seems to be saying that you can't do it, without a hacked version of mod_fastcgi. Is this really true? It's hard to believe. Why would you want EVERY request (within a given directory) to be passed through your fastcgi app? What if you have to of them, one for .foo files and another for bar files? Is there really no way to do this without hacking mod_fastcgi?
