I like it.  One of the main issues I think is the name, you say that
galeon saves sessions and the immediate response is hey! gnome-session
already does that.  But you're right, it's really the saving of
workspaces, the layout of windows and what is in them, and this is a
feature in many of the other programs I've used (msvs, borlands ide,
etc).

It may be that a change in terminology is all that's needed.  People can
still get rid of the 'quit' button, and yet we can retain the
functionality that is needed, *if* it's needed.  I remember that I
campained for sessions long ago when galeon1 was in it's infancy, but to
be honest, I've never used them.  

Personally I think that some of the functions that people are crying
about loosing should maybe be left off and we can let the g2 devs follow
marco and his vision of g2, and (assuming that major re-engineering isn't
required), features can be put back in to g2 if enough people bitch and
moan about them.  I haven't tried g2 yet, but I'd like to, but I'd like
to wait till it's a bit closer to a 1.0 (erhm... 2.0?) stage, and *then*
I'll start seeing if the functionality that is missing from g1 is really
something that I miss.
