Well there are "critical" issues on my side, but I don't have time to
address them today :-( I'm ok with having a release.

The patch looks ok, except that I don't understand why are you changing
the users default folder... is that intentional?

I vote for enabling the dropdown for default and making the timeout[1] a
lot bigger (like one second).

[1] Yes, there is a timeout. But it is intentionally very short.
