I'm running RedHat 8.0, with with Mozilla+xft 1.2.1 rpms installed and Galeon 1.2.7. Do those link against xft1? My fonts.conf does contain the <dir>~/.fonts</dir> line. -Steve -----Original Message----- From: Matt Adam [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tue 12/10/2002 11:36 PM To: [email protected] Cc: Subject: Re: [Galeon-devel] TTF fonts in ~/.fonts in Galeon > I installed the Microsoft core fonts in my ~/.fonts directory, however, > I do not see these as options in Galeon in the Render->Fonts/Colors > regardless > of how I set the filters. These fonts are accessible in Gnome (Gnome menu -> > Preferences->Font), but not in Galeon. (I have restarted since installation > BTW) I don't think Xft1 checks ~/.fonts. Perhaps mozilla is linked against Xft1, and not Xft2? Also, in your /etc/fonts/fonts.conf, make sure you see something like: <dir>~/.fonts</dir> ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility Learn to use your power at OSDN's High Performance Computing Channel http://hpc.devchannel.org/ _______________________________________________ Galeon-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/galeon-devel ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility Learn to use your power at OSDN's High Performance Computing Channel http://hpc.devchannel.org/
