My excuses for not using galeon 2:
The 1.3.3 is not has stable has the 1.2.x series(some random crash and
unreproducible), gestures are not complete at all(previous/next tab, 
fullscreen, reload,..), mouse prefs have totally disappear(how can I 
enable gesture, autoscroll if I hate gconf-edit?),there's no tool 
for managing cookie or image, no stylesheet switcher, no possibility to
change the default size of the tab(too great for me), no autoreload,
there's no prefs to change the download manager,...

I think I haven't forgot too much default
