Hi, I've noticed that galeon has problems with handling input from forms. I'm not sure whether that's a bug in galeon or just a question of bad design on account of the webmaster. When I want to place an offer, I get into an endless vicious circle: - - send the offer - confirm - error message telling me to provide a valid offer It's not that I'm too stupid to fill in a proper value. :-) I've tried anything: values with decimal comma (I'm in Germany...), decimal point, and integers. The mysterious thing is, occasionally I get the bid through, but sometimes I'm just stuck in this circle. Perhaps it has to do with the encoding of the page? I guess the comma in the URL might be the cause of the problems. I remember similar problems with a pull- down menu where one item contained an a-umlaut. Strangely enough, I just tried that one again and it worked... I finally switched to Mozilla to place my offer, which worked like a charm. That's the reason I think there might be something in Galeon causing this problem.
