Password saving

Hey,

I thought of a feature request a few moments ago. Since I forget those
things very easily, I've just put them on mail, let me know what you
think. I can file a feature request in bugzilla then.

Sometimes I have to enter a username and password, but am not sure if
the password is right/the right one. Therefore I almost always use "No"
if Galeon asks if the password has to be saved. Then, when I'm logged
in successfully, I often logout again, login with the same user/pass
combination and let Galeon save it. This all to prevent a wrong
password being saved and Galeon asking me next time which of the list of
(all the same) accountnames I want to login with, not knowing which is
the right one.

So maybe it's possible to add the password in a tentative way. When the
login is attempted and the HTTP request fails (HTTP 401, 403 etc.) don't
save it otherwise do save it (HTTP 2xx, 301, etc.).
I don't know if this is feasible at all. But if so, please let me know.

Keep up the good work,

Paul
