"Secondary" middle-click action?

Would it be feasible, for, when gestures are enabled for the middle
mouse click, to add support for another action to be done when a gesture
isn't made? (Similar to how the context menu comes up for a right click
when no gesture is made). 
I like having middle mouse button gestures, but I've found I can't get
along without middle click URL pasting.
