FWIW, I've noticed non-technical GNOME users gravitate towards 
galeon (the ones young enough to explore the menus and try things at 
least). Even when they were given Firefox as their default browser.

Galeon is a far more pleasant user experience (due to GNOME 
integration primarily).

Note that Epiphany possibly is /too/ simple though. Eg, I really hope 
the load-url-on-middle-click behaviour isn't going to be held hostage 
to "simplicity" and made an obscure gconf key.
