The GNOME integration can cause more troubles than benefits. For
example, to open MIME-Type with other program than the default,
you have to start Nautilus and do right-clicking on the saved file,
at which point the file with its extension already carries different
MIME-Type than when it came from the network. These are the examples
of integration being harmful.

And I fear that Epiphany tends to be even more "integrated", thus
yielding it even less useful when you try to do anything but the
simplest task.
