Or just add a "Zoom in" and a "Zoom out" button (like Konqueror does).
I think there are stock icons for this (magnifiers with + and -)
so IMHO these should be used. The numerical value is of little interest,
is it?

Gnumeric has a _dropdown_ box containing a few "100%" entries;
As did abiword  in the gnome1 version at least.

Nautilus should use the same zoom control.
