Personally I'm going to install them both together, and I'd like
different .galeon directories.  This is simply because if I find I like
g1 better when g2 is out, or simply want to do testing with g2, or if
the gtk2 port of mozilla still isn't good/stable/whatever.

I figure that gnome2 installs itself to .gnome2, I don't see why galeon
can't do the same, as long as there's an easy way to copy over
bookmarks/settings.
