If you want them to run properly next to each other this isn't
sufficient. You also need to modify gconf "path" names, like i do for
the debian galeon-snapshot package... Quite a lot to patch for that.
Making another one-line diff ".galeon" -> ".galeon2" is easy then.
The standard dir should be ".galeon" imho.
A ".galeon/vesion" file could be used to decide if .galeon should be
backed up (that can be done in the wrapper... in fact i did a similar
thing in the debian package while gconf was broken for locales...)
