some recent trouble with galeon

hello,

All of the sudden, a few things are broken in my galeon.  there are a
few possible reasons, i just updated to mozilla-1.7.5 and i just
upgraded to gnome-2.8.1.  i am running gentoo.

here are my problems.  first of all, the images on the myportal page are
not showing up i.e. the galeon logo in the top right of the myportal
page does not show up.  i did check, the image is in /usr/share/galeon/
and it does open if you right click on the link and as to open image.

secondly, all the sudden my mailto links are not working.  all my other
browsers are respecting my mailto links (in particular, galeon's cousin
epiphany is) but galeon is not.

anyone else experiencing this?
