Middle and right mouse button does nothing

Hi,

Middle and right mouse button dosn't work since few days. Change of 
mouse setting has no effect.

What setting should I check?

Debian testing (daily updated), gnome-2.8.1, mozilla-1.7.5, 
galeon-1.3.18
