Turn off "last accessed" in bookmarks.xbel?

Is there any way to turn off the feature by which Galeon updates the
"last accessed" time of bookmarks every time you use them?
Why? I synchronise my bookmarks between my laptop and desktop using
Unison. If Galeon is running on both computers (which it usually is)
Unison gets confused because both copies of bookmarks.xbel have been
modified. If I've actually added a bookmark, I have to remember on
which computer I did so (ie. which copy should supersede the other).
Can I look at a diff? Not really: the diff is enormous, and it is
nigh impossible to find exactly what happened. Therefore, it would be
lovely to have the option to turn it off.
So... who uses the feature, anyway? Is it used for cache updates?
Thanks!
