Galeon is an application.  It uses a set of toolkits.  It's been in the
past (and is becoming again) a pretty good browser.

I've *always* maintained that its principle disadvantage is an
overdependence and tangled nesting with GNOME.  I'm not alone in this
belief, and note that Galeon went from being an underappreciated but
up-and-coming browser to _massively_ shooting itself in the foot through
much of the 1.3 development track.  As of 1.3.16/17 or so it's started
getting reasonably usable again.

If you're not interested in what I've got to say, you're more than
welcome not to read.  I'll keep my comments topical.  I _am_ filing
usability bugs.  I _am_ noting welcome feature restorals.  I'll also
call 'em like I see 'em when I see stuff that's fucked up.
