While I agree that Galeon is better off the way it is than the way that
some people would like to see it, this comment of yours is a real red
flag.  If anyone who is a developer seriously believes this then we have
many more problems with Linux on the desktop than I previously thought.

I realize that most OSS software exists to service the needs of the
developers.  But if you intend your software to be used by others (and
in OSS this definitely need not be the case) then ignoring them and
calling them idiots is not a very wise thing to do.

I think the vast majority of Galeon's users are appreciative of this
happy medium.

This would indeed be a great thing.  Such a statement could guide
discussion of features on this list.
