favicon.ico, again

Hi all...

I'm sorry to post this to the list _again_ but it's not obviously in
the Galeon help system, the FAQ, the man page, nor anywhere I've found
on the mailing list archives.

How do I get Galeon to display a favicon.ico?  I think I have one set
up properly, and firefox agrees with that assessment.  Galeon requests
favicon.ico from the website and gets a 200, but then doesn't do
anything with it (the location bar displays the default icon, and
bookmarks don't display anything, as I've told Galeon to display a
favicon if it exists or else nothing).  There are some sites for which
favicon is displayed properly (for another example from me,
http://hebb.mit.edu/FreeMusic), but for other sites
(http://www.weatherunderground.com) the favicon has never worked.
What am I doing wrong?

Galeon 1.3.20, recent Debian unstable, although this problem has been
around for ages.
