I see that too, somewhat randomly, though I haven't tried the followups  
you describe below.

I also get a strange problem where, without being requested, the  
content area of a tab will detach into a window with no other widgets  
except a scrollbar.  The tab itself stays in the original window, and  
if you minimize the pseudo-detached content area it will pop back up  
when you click the tab, though it doesn't pop back where you last put  
it on your desktop.  Also, the 'x' on the tab won't close it, but if  
you right-click the tab and pick the 'close' option it will close it  
(i.e., delete the pseudo-detached window and remove the tab from the  
browser window).

These unrequested pseudo-detachments also fail to render their content  
quite often, and apparently randomly.
