I for one would welcome some such development, but if you do it, why not
simply put an "Advanced" item under Preferences? Those of us without
degrees in CS, nor any aspiration to them, will still not know what
gtweakui is -- and you'll keep getting Very Dumb Questions like mine
from other mere users even after I learn it.
