What was removed from Nautilus is a switch between beginner/advanced 
mode, which would change the options shown to the user, as well as most 
menus, ... And obviously, most people said "hey, I'm not a n00b, I'm a 
l33t linux user, let's use advanced". So the 2 different modes were 
basically useless, and they had some maintainance cost, so it was chosen 
to remove them.
