Hi,
I just updated my Debian system from woody/galeon 1.? to sarge,
which upgradesgaleon to 1.3.20 as of this week.
Now every web page I visit has a background color that's kind of lime-green.
I need to know a good way to permanently set the content window background color.
(I don't monitor the list, so if you can cc to my email address, I'd
appreciate it.)
I've poked around with google for awhile without success for awhile. Did
find some great material comparing browsers, so it wasn't a total washout.
about:config page shows:
user_pref("browser.display.background_color", "#ffffff");
Tried adding following to ~/.galeon/mozilla/galeon/prefs.js:
user_pref("browser.display.background_color", "#ffffff");
Made no difference. Of course, I'm not sure it's the right method, anyway.
TIA.
