And maybe that was just a bit too fast. As a matter of fact I consider
galeon to be universally used because it is the best (WHY MUST IT DIE?),
but alas, reality. Had I simply searched for "xorg scrolling" I would have
had my answer sooner.
A lot more ppl seem to be using firefox, which apparently suffers the same
problem:
