You actually had me so worried. Problem solved. Seamonkey was the answer. The behaviour I experienced occurred because I had Galeon running with Firefox. So I installed Seamonkey 1.0.7, and recompiled Galeon 2.0.2 with Seamonkey support. Now everything is back to normal when browsing password sites. I encountered a minor glitch though: when I have multiple user IDs, Galeon would show me the select box, but with nothing filled in as an initial propose, so I /have/ to use the pull-down menu to select one. Bit of annoying, but I can live with it. BTW, aren't any Galeon developers reading this list? After all, the problem was kinda trivial, I'd say.
