I did a fresh installation of galeon in Debian Etch, and installed galeon 2.0.2. This question is about a new behavior I don't understand. When I attempt certain operations when viewing a web page with galeon, such as entering my password to access an account, an odd dialog pops up. At the top it says "chrome://global/content/CommonDialog.xul". It obviously is meant to display some text, but it is empty. At the bottom are two buttons, "Cancel" and "OK". I find that the latter tends to carry me forward after some delay. What is this popup dialog? Do I need it? If not, can I get rid of it?
