Had to re-run xmodmap and everything. >=20 > heh, galeon is so good, that we are even going to suffer such > nuisances like pdf crashing, and royal fuckup of xsession when > changing preferences. Makes me wanna laugh ;-) >=20 > If anybody takes over I wish the first thing to do, would be to > separate galeon from gnome a bit more: move all preferences from > gnome-control-center-whatever into galeon Menu Edit->Preferences I am also still using Galeon at home in Debian Stable Etch (compiled with Firefox) and at work in Gentoo (compiled with Seamonkey). Although it's posible with Firefox 2.0 to replicate all the Galeon features in regards to browsing, sessions, tabs, zooming, cookies management etc., I couldn't get used with the ugly interface of Firefox (custom tabs and other badly integrated widgets). However, Firefox 3.0 is shaping quite nicely and almost all its widgets are indistinguishable from the GTK ones. My wet dream would be a Galeon browser compiled against the Firefox 3.0 engine (Mozilla 1.9?) with AdBlock Plus and NoScript equivalents built-in. --=20 mi=C8=99u --Signature=_Mon__10_Mar_2008_21_29_36_+0200_PVS+cXV.HBivncCj Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFH1YwgWGHETwLAB1ERApVcAKCk1Kvk/qBEE7K4t037BWKvTm+I9gCdF6ED HTLyWidQr8cjk5gig2jgATo= =rP8B -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Signature=_Mon__10_Mar_2008_21_29_36_+0200_PVS+cXV.HBivncCj-- --===============0529189902== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
