Heh. Now I got the impression that maybe something is wrong with me.
I am using softwares that are old and dying, and I refuse to switch
because they are so good.

The other software I speak about is sawfish. And I am the one who
stepped up to revive it. Lots of sawfish users (me also) are happy
about that. So, since now I maintain sawfish, I can't offer to do
that with galeon. And also I never looked into its guts. Perhaps I
should subscribe to galeon-dev to be a bit closer and follow whats
up? Is that list active nowadays?

heh, galeon is so good, that we are even going to suffer such
nuisances like pdf crashing, and royal fuckup of xsession when
changing preferences. Makes me wanna laugh ;-)

If anybody takes over I wish the first thing to do, would be to
separate galeon from gnome a bit more: move all preferences from
gnome-control-center-whatever into galeon Menu Edit->Preferences
