  Finish off implementing this driver.  It's not fully tested, but I
expect the unit tests will shake out any remaining bugs.

  Fix up Akismet tests and get them working.  I undid Shad's changes to
get the setup/teardown to be more comprehensive - in general we trade
speed for cleanliness there since it's very hard to avoid polluting so
we put the onus on the setup code to make sure things are clean (within
reason).
