I have forwarded this reply to the Tidy-develop mailing list. I would
recommend you sign up for this mailing list if you haven't already done so.


There has been some discussion in the past about adding support for GB2312,
but I don't think anyone else has done it, so we would welcome your input.


I suggest you describe the technical details of your proposal on the
Tidy-develop mailing list, and we will go from there.


Having some sample input (X)HTML documents using GB2312 encoding would be
helpful for testing purposes.
