Hi Kevin, I am not one of the maintainer of the project but contribute it when I need to. I understand your fear that the CVS is not as stable as it could be. But there are really a few bugs in the current Tidy code and I think that the last changes were quite small. I use personally Tidy to build an extension for Firefox called HTML Validator. I use the CVS version because there are several bugs solved in CVS and not in bundles versions. And I must say I never got problems with it ! But maybe, it is true that having one real version per year, would be better....
