A few month ago I got committer rights which I'm actively using now for a few weeks. Tim Diggins has also offered to work on the project. We'd appreciate if more people would get involved. A release that includes the patches from sourceforge that have been supplied in the 2005-2007 period is due soon. The project is alive and kicking in a way that at least we can make sure that people that have been using httpunit for many years now will still find a version that is up-to-date and a mailingliste where quite a few people are asking questions and get responses. We are certaintly not the quickest in the universe but do what we can given the limited resources we have. I did not look at your patches yet. For a patch to go into httpunit it's mandatory to have a test case that tests the changes intended by the patch. In some cases I've started to add in some case to add patch-code with out test cases nevertheless usually commenting it out or marking it deprecated to make sure the rest of the code ist not harmed. But that's only in cases where I can't get in touch with the original authors any more. In your case I'd appreciate if you'd have a look at the latest svn trunk revision and let me know wheter your patches still make sense in this context. Thank you!
