You can debug the javascript handling in detail (e.g. in 
Eclipse) and see how the code is executed token by token 
- it's a bit tough and tedious, but possible. 

Maybe while doing so you find ways to add nice log 
information. Mark - any comments on this from what you 
did the last few days?
