Yes indeed - in fact there are some 150 people download 
1.6.2 daily. Many probably don't even know about the 
subversion repository. 

As a quick fix I've added the jars to the subversion 
repository:
http://httpunit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/httpunit/trunk/httpunit/lib/

Now we simply have to rebuild anytime a change has 
happened (not necessarily nightly - IMHO there are too 
few developers for that this would be worthwhile).

There is also an uncompressed version now suitable for 
the RCS ident command which I mentioned lately. 

It would be great if the link 
http://httpunit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/httpunit/trunk/httpunit/lib/httpunit.jar

 would show up in the downloads section of sourceforge 
as an alternative to 1.6.2 and 1.7.
