Double Post in HttpUnit 1.7

I'm seeing double posts when using HTTP Unit v1.7 that didn't occur in 1.6.
I submitted a bug report here...

and rolled back to 1.6, however now I'm stuck with the Neko case sensitivity
options bug. Find it really hard to believe that no-one else is getting such
a critial and obvious problem with 1.7, especially as it has been out for a
good few months now. Would really appreciate it if after reading the bug
report anyone can point out if I'm doing something stupid.
