Actually, I daily get tens of copies of this virus personally, and about ten complaints of silly mailer daemons and antiviruses that virus supposedly from me reached them (so the real number of virus copies with my mail in their From header is probably at least double). Given this ratio and the number of viruses reaching the list, I think it confirms that the spam filter is pretty good and that most of these mails are likely to be originated at some subscribed addresses. If you really care and want me, I could look it up in the subscribers list. Anyway, possibility even for non-subscribers to post is quite valuable as people frequently want to report a problem and want that to reach the concerned people, but otherwise do not wish to subscribe (even I do so on some other lists). I'm not sure about the confirming, when I'll have time I'll check the mailman configuration if something like that could be set up by me, but I think rather not.
